has kept me so busy

that painting

has been

slipped my mind

maybe it's color that inspires me

more than ideas

idk

but I am loving

adding the next row

on top of colors

I would never

pick on my own

but I love anyway

and the surprise I feel

when they look

perfectly

matched

hopefully I will be

less afraid

when I start back to

painting

 

also I'm looking forward

to fall

I cleaned up

my fire pit

and built a couple of fires

it was actually cool

last night

perfect for sitting

and talking

and laughing

and stoking

and just enjoying

the flames

and the warmth

 

funny how

the last of my zinnias

are as colorful

as my yarn

 

loving

spiders and their webs

reading harry potter slowly

coffee on cooler mornings

mushrooms popping up like magic

watching whole seasons on Netflix

drives in the white car

and

making plans and lists

for things to come

after the rain last week

 mushrooms popped up

like magic

one night was clear and

I got to see a

beautiful meteor cross the sky

then the eclipse

with the eerie light

and shadows

things I won't forget

 

I finished my goldilocks painting

and have started

my peter pan

I also got my yarn

in the mail

and started a summer harmony blanket

using the pattern and yarn packet created

by Lucy at Attic24

oh the colors! and it's like

a puzzle to put together

which makes it

even more interesting

and fun

walking

no sugar cravings

feta cheese

cherries

Loving // that my clothes aren't quite as tight on me as they

used to be (i have stayed off of sugar for 2 weeks)

Eating //  much healthier and kinda loving it 

Drinking //  coffee with a little cream

Feeling // behind on everything 

Making //  hard choices all around

Thinking //   about life and the choices we all make

Dreaming // of making this this blanket

It's been a rough

couple of days for me

trying to detox off of sugar

just one more day

before I get to

add

a little back

slowly

but surely, I'm determined to do this

 

I've made and sent off

my artist trading cards and empathy card

I fell a little in love

with my little fearless guy

and now I'm working on

goldilocks

adding a little bit everyday to her

kinda love her too
