Loving // the mornings spent outside with the singing birds,
wind in the trees, cicadas calling, sun rising and blue skies.
Eating // peanut butter and banana on whole grain bread,
sprinkled with granola and drizzled
with honey.
Drinking // those yummy orange slushies from
McDonalds
Feeling // a little concerned about our world as
a whole
Making // just finished a couple of Artist Trading Cards for a swap
on lifebook but still
have another one to go. Also finished my owls
which i'm really happy with.
Thinking // about going on a sugar detox
Dreaming // of going to the Gulf Coast this fall

Hello, Ann. Your owls are just beautiful!! And I love those bright red chairs on your lawn. I see you have zinnias in bloom, I grew a drift of them last Summer here and there are a few now that have come up from self seeding. There bright colours are so cheery. Meg:)
ReplyDeleteThanks Meg! Zinnias are my favorites, colorful, easy to grow and they reseed!
DeleteThose red chairs speak to me, I'm wondering if I have room for at least one in my yard. Can't wait for zinnia season here again.
ReplyDeleteThey just make me happy every time I see them :)
DeleteYour owls are lovely Ann and the pink flower is stunning! Your sentence about being concerned about the world as a whole really resonates with me right now. I'm thankful for my creativity and my projects because it give me a bit of positive therapy and peace when so much going on right now is so very yuck! Megan x
ReplyDeleteThank you :) and yes art give me an escape too.
DeleteIt's a little hard not to worry about the world, sometimes, isn't it? I try to keep most of it out of my mind and life, enjoy my craft and day to day, because it's all pretty much out of my control anyway!
ReplyDeleteLove your photos! They look so sunny and warm.
Thanks for joining in again!

Most days I don't really think about it, but some days it's all hard to ignore.
